I have a 96' Savage with 6200 miles. i got it used and have put 2500 miles on it. Come home from work the other day i notice that it was slipping when i gave it gas, most noticeable in 3ed gear (it was 90 deg outside and i was in slow traffic). I check the oil and it was a little low, but not enough that i was worried. it is due a oil change, but other than that it has had good maintance. Is this a sign of clutch problems or was it the heat ?
